Terminal Information
Toronto Pearson has two terminal buildings: T1 (Air Canada hub and Star Alliance — the larger, modern terminal) and T3 (all other carriers including Porter, WestJet US routes, international non-AC). The two terminals are NOT connected airside — a free shuttle bus runs between them (15 min).
Gates & Boarding
T1: gates F (international), D and E (US transborder pre-clearance), A and B (domestic). T3: gates C (domestic and international). The F pier in T1 handles all non-US/non-domestic international.

Facilities & Services
Union Pearson Express (UP Express) train runs from T1 basement station to Union Station in downtown Toronto in 25 min (C$12.35 one-way). Taxis ~C$60 to downtown. Uber/Lyft available. T1 has significantly better dining and retail than T3.
Insider Tips
UP Express is the fastest and most reliable transfer. T3 is dated but functional — all transfers connecting to Air Canada require going to T1. US flights from T1 go through US customs/immigration pre-clearance in the terminal (allows you to arrive in the US as domestic). Book airport hotel early for early-morning departures.
