Madrid Barajas has four terminal buildings. T1 handles Star Alliance (except Iberia). T2 serves SkyTeam carriers. T4 is the Iberia/oneworld hub and is a separate modern building. T4S is a satellite of T4 connected by underground shuttle.

T1 gates 1–70 (Star Alliance). T2 gates 71–140 (SkyTeam). T4 gates 200–250 (Iberia, Vueling, BA, American). T4S gates 300–350 (long-haul Iberia, requires 10-min shuttle from T4). T3 is reserved for private aviation.

Check your terminal carefully — T4 is far from T1/T2. Fixed taxi fares are posted in the cab — always agree before departure. Metro Line 8 requires a supplement on top of the regular fare. T4 connections to T4S need 10 min extra.
